Bo Hicks

Bo Hicks, originally from Abernaut, Alabama, moved to Tuscaloosa around age eighteen. After some 15 years as a Tuscaloosa resident, Hicks was recently named first runner-up for Tuscaloosa’s most well-known person behind Alabama’s head football coach Nick Saban.  Considered a friend by many because of his talkative nature and outgoing personality, Hicks gained notoriety for his many occupations. Among his high-profile jobs, he lists football season bartender at Egan’s, bar manager at Bama Theater, buyer at Manna Grocery, founder of WellThatsCool.com, and co-owner of Druid City Brewing Company.  Along with balancing his many business ventures, he finds time to spend with his wife and to watch educational cartoons with his daughter, Pistol.  Bo Hicks is an outgoing businessman with a sharp wit and winsome personality, a great father and husband, and an outstanding citizen of Tuscaloosa.
